Red Rats (1991)

Overview: Stunt coordinator Stefan is forced out of the Institute of Fine Arts for voicing anti-regime views, is pursued and interrogated by the Securitate, and suffers the loss of his friend Stavros during the 1977 earthquake rescue. After illegally emigrating, he returns post-1989 to uncover shocking truths about the very officials who once investigated him.
