From Karkhe to Rhein (1993)

Overview: Young veteran Saeed, who is suffering from visual problems due to injuries sustained during the Iran-Iraq War, is sent to Germany for treatment and recuperation. Once there, he is reunited with his sister Leyla, who is now married to a German citizen. The siblings struggle to reconnect in a foreign land, while Saeed prepares himself for surgery that could change his life. A tragic exploration of the horrific repercussions of war.
